Are you an AAA member looking to plan a quick get-away, or send your loved one flowers this Valentine’s Day? AAA offers discounts for all things that say, “I love you”. Last year AAA’s 52 million members used their membership cards to save nearly $2 billion dollars on hotels, jewelry, books, clothing and more.
"Most members are aware of the discounts available for planning a romantic getaway, but we are committed to providing additional benefits and discounts for AAA members on everyday expenses including gift giving for loved ones," said Gail Acebes, director, AAA Partnership Programs. "The same card that provides peace of mind with emergency roadside rescue and free travel guides and maps can provide savings on household repairs, pet care, jewelry and more."
Looking to plan a romantic get-away? AAA offers discounts from Amtrak, many parking lots close to airports and tours. AAA is partnered with hotel chains like Best Western, Hilton, Hyatt and Marriot (just to name a few) and offers up to 20% discounts on hotel stays. If that’s not enough, you can also get the AAA discount on rental cars with Hertz car rentals.
Staying home this Valentine’s Day? Surprise your sweetheart with a new piece of jewelry from Zales ($25 off orders more than $200 at AAA.com) or Blue Nile (10 percent off fine jewelry and ring settings) or some chocolates from Harry and David (20% off purchase of $50 or more at AAA.com). If you really want to impress your Valentine, have some flowers delivered. AAA offers discounts through 1800 Flowers and FTD.
So before you decide what to do this Valentine’s Day, make sure to check www.AAA.com for deals closest to you.
